Graphic Elements/Print Materials: Part 2

This week saw the further exploration of the Burning Barrel brand, playing with how the logo will be used across a series of materials. The four big materials that I worked with were finalizing a set of coasters, repetitive pattern creation that will be used for basket sheets and food wraps, a concept design for a food truck, and an explorative exterior building design. I sought to make them work with each other, as well as with the other materials that I worked on last week. At the same time, I wanted them to have their own visual look and are able to stand alone to represent the brand. Below are all of these materials.

These are the coasters that I finalized for Burning barrel. There are 5 designs, each having a dark logo side and a light side that offers a fun, typographic quote.

I developed this concept  as an exploration of how the logo and style can be used in the exterior building design. I wanted something modern that allowed for the tag-like logo element that is often used on Burning Barrel materials.

Food truck concept was an element that I was not planning on creating, but thought it may be a good additional item that the brand may use. These show the ordering side and the driver side.

Overall, these materials came out quite well. It was time well spent to further explore the logo usage. I am roughly done with the creation of materials, turning my focus for the next few weeks on the development of a set of BBQ sauces and bourbon beverages. This process will need to be accelerated in order do more projects for Burning Barrel, prior to the end of the semester.
